What is AS 3959-2018?

The Australian Standard for building in bushfire-prone areas. Specifies ember mesh aperture (2mm max), material grades, and fixings required for each BAL rating.

What BAL rating does your mesh suit?

2mm aluminium: BAL 12.5, 19, 29. For BAL 40 and BAL-FZ we install 316 stainless steel mesh.

Will my insurer accept your compliance documentation?
